University of Hawai’i at Manoa

The University of Hawai’i at Manoa is a land, space, sun, and sea grant university, and aspires to be a model Indigenous-serving institution. Interstate Passport

This example of a Passport Block was developed by faculty at University of Hawai’i at Manoa. This member profile was developed as an example of how learning outcome-based transfer can be mapped onto a general education curriculum. The Interstate Passport program sunset at the end of 2023, and each member institution has different policies regarding their ongoing transfer relationships. Met through combination of Core General Education requirements. One upper-division Oral Communicaton Focus course is required for graduation from UH Manoa, but not as part of the Passport Block. This Passport block is met by taking a course that also meets another block, typically any Diversification Arts (DA), Diversification Humanities (DH), or Diversification Literature (DL) course.
