The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE), an interstate compact with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, is a great place to grow a career and have a meaningful impact on the higher education field. WICHE is based in Boulder, CO, which tops lists ranging from Most Educated to Highest Well-Being to Happiest City in the U.S. Nestled in the Rocky Mountain foothills, Boulder’s natural beauty and urban amenities offer countless ways to spend its 300 sunny days a year. Though most of WICHE’s staff (of approximately 70) is based in Boulder, select positions and staff are based remotely.
