April Humanities Deans Community of Practice
As a part of WICHE’s ongoing work to support leaders in the humanities, the Programs and Services unit has established a Humanities Deans Community of Practice. As the federal and state policy landscape continue to evolve in ways that uniquely impact humanities disciplines, this community of practice can be a space where leaders can come together to share knowledge, reflect on challenges, and develop solutions. We invite Deans who oversee Humanities departments (e.g., English, history, communications, languages, philosophy, religious studies, gender and cultural studies, art, music, theater) at 2-year and 4-year institutions to participate. The group will meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 2:00-3:00 pm MT.
