Dean, Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico


Alina Chircu has served as the dean of the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, where she is also a tenured professor in the marketing, information and decision sciences department, since April 2024. Previously she served in several capacities at Bentley University, including as interim dean of business, associate dean of graduate programs, and department chair. Chircu holds a Ph.D. in business administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science and systems modeling and simulation from the University “Politehnica” of Bucharest (Romania).
