Vice President for Student Affairs, University of New Mexico


Eric Scott, Ed.D., has served as vice president for student affairs at the University of New Mexico since 2022. He leads a division of dedicated student success practitioners to create and sustain a premier, culturally responsive student experience and support systems for a vibrant community of learners. Previously, he served as associate vice president for student affairs at Boise State University and dean of students at the University of Alaska Southeast. Scott received his B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of South Carolina and Ed.D. in adult and higher education from Oregon State University.
