The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus' College of Nursing participates in WUE and offers three nursing practice pathways: a Traditional BS in Nursing, Fort Lewis College Collaborative (Durango) and the UCAN (Accelerated) BS in Nursing. The UCAN pathway is a full-time, 12-month program option with admission offered twice a year in the fall and spring. UCAN applicants must have a bachelor’s to be eligible; healthcare experience is also required for this pathway. The Traditional BS pathway is a full-time, 24-month option, designed for students who may or may not have earned a degree with admission offered once a year in the summer. The FLC pathway is similar to the Traditional however the program has a fall start and is completed in 20 months. The TRAD and UCAN programs are offered on the Anschutz campus while the FLC pathway is offered in Durango, CO.
