South Dakota State University

Founded in 1881, SDSU is a comprehensive land-grant institution, serving the people of the state through academic programs, research and extension. SDSU offers the greatest selection of academic programs in the state with more than 200 majors, minors and specializations. SDSU is located in Brookings, a progressive, friendly community that provides students in a safe, comfortable environment. A wide variety of athletic, social, and cultural activities are available on campus and in the community, including the South Dakota Art Museum and SDSU athletics. The learning environment at SDSU extends beyond the traditional classroom with exceptional hands-on learning opportunities, The Performing Arts Center, Raven Precision Agriculture facility, a new engineering complex, new residence halls, Student Union expansion, and state-of-the-art Wellness Center are recent additions to the excellent facilities at SDSU.
