Travis Broadhurst
President of the Graduate and Professional Student Association, University of New Mexico
Travis Broadhurst is a current Ph.D. student in civil engineering at the University of New Mexico (UNM) and serves as president of the graduate and professional student association (GPSA). He completed a B.S. in geophysics at UNC-Chapel Hill and worked for four years for a geothermal energy services company before starting at UNM. He has extensive experience representing students both at his undergraduate institution and at UNM, having served previously as sustainability director and director of boards, commissions, and elections for GPSA. He has also been an active member and advisor for the student committee of geothermal rising for seven years.
