Lyman Gallup, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Operations Management in the Department of Networking, Operations and Information Systems in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University . He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in business statistics, operations management, and supply chain management. Dr. Gallup has been a member of the faculty at Boise State University since 1977 and holds degrees from the University of Oregon (PhD in Business Administration, 1979), Arizona State University (MBA, 1974) and the University of Montana (BA in Finance, 1973).
Lyman has been a member of the Institute for Supply Management (formerly NAPM) since 1988 and served on the Board of Directors for the ISM-Idaho Southwest Chapter 1991-1994. He has frequently served as Moderator for the Annual Buyer/Supplier Panel at the ISM Idaho Southwest Chapter meetings. Dr Gallup has also been a member of the Decision Sciences Institute and served as Western Regional President, 1989-90.
Dr. Gallup has authored or co-authored articles in a variety of publications including Benchmarking: An International Journal, American Journal of Health Promotion, Assessment Digest, Journal of Data Education, Simulation, and Idaho Wildlife. He has also presented seminars to various groups including Hewlett Packard and the Idaho Magistrate Judges' Institute. Dr. Gallup received the BSU Alumni Association Outstanding Faculty Award in 1982.

Patrick W. Shannon, Ph.D. is Professor of Operations Management in the department of Networking, Operations and Information Systems Department in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University . He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in business statistics, quality management, lean manufacturing and other areas of operations management and has previously served as Associate Dean of the College of Business and Economics and as Department Chair In addition, Dr. Shannon has lectured and consulted in the statistics, lean manufacturing management, project management and quality improvement for over twenty-five years. Listed among his consulting clients are Boise Cascade Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, PowerBar, Inc., Potlatch Corporation, Woodgrain Millwork Inc., Welco-Skookum Lumber Company, J.R. Simplot Company, St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, Mount Baker Plywood Company, Wahington Group International, Boise City, Zilog Corporation, Idaho Transportation Department , Idaho Tax Commission, Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, and numerous other public and private sector organizations.
Dr. Shannon has co-authored eleven university level textbooks including most recently Business Statistics: A Decision Making Approach, 6th Edition (January 2004) and A Course in Business Statistics 4 th Edition (January 2005) published by Prentice Hall Publishing Company and Introduction to Management Science published by Dellen Publishing Company. In addition to textbooks, Dr. Shannon has published numerous articles in such journals as Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education, Business Horizons, Transportation Research Record, Interfaces, Journal of Simulation, Journal of Production and Inventory Control, Quality Progress, Quality Management Journal, and Journal of Marketing Research.
He completed his BS and MS at the University of Montana and his Ph.D. in Statistics and Quantitative Methods at the University of Oregon and has been associated with Boise State University since 1974.

While his interests span many areas, Dr. Price’s core areas of expertise currently include:

Issues in global supply chain management in transitional and developing economies;

Materials management (about which he has co-authored two texts in Europe);

The nature of relationships in the logistics chain, especially as they are related to psychological type theory; and
-
Logistics and management education design and delivery.
University, Professional, Public Service:
Dr. Price played a central role in designing the Masters of Science in Global Supply Chain Management program and the related undergraduate Logistics major when he first joined the University of Alaska Anchorage in 1999.
He is currently designing the new Associates Degree and Certificate Program in Logistics Operations.
Professional Affiliations:
Dr. Price is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Association for Psychological Type, the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (U.K.), the Institute of Logistics (U.K.), and the Irish Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Dr. Price is also an Associate Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management and a Past National Council Member of the Institute of Materials Handling (Ireland).
Scholarship/Creative Activity:
Dr. Price’s research and creative activity includes:

Scholarly research and publications in supply chain management in transitional economies, including a recent article in The Journal of Marketing Channels on the power of third party distributors in Kazakhstan.

Writing a series of logistics chain instructional texts and supplemental teaching materials, the first of which, Warehouse Management and Inventory Control, will be published in 2006.

Current green-field research in personality type and the logistics chain.

Creation of an ongoing series of whitepapers on issues in strategic management for federal contractors.

Areas of Expertise:
Dr. Henrie specializes in international project management system designs and implementation efforts He also undertakes research in the area of systems of systems, supervisory control and data acquisition cyber security, leak detection system design and analysis, and logistics applications within major projects.
University, Professional, Public Service:
Dr. Henrie participates within and external to the university system. Within the university he was a member of the 2005 Gath Jones Writing Award committee. External to the university Dr. Henrie is the Project Management Institute – Project Management Competency Development Framework Edit Team Deputy Lead. He is also the Marketing Director for the American Society for the Advancement of Project Management, the Untied States Affiliate of the International Project Management Association.
Dr. Henrie was also the Co-Chair for the 2005 System Management Conference, Systems of Systems Engineering Research, Issues and Applications as well as the panel discussion developer and Co-Chair for the 2005 American Society of Engineering Management Authorship Etiquette and Publishing panel.
