Chief Mental Health Officer | Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS)

The Chief Mental Health Officer (CMHO) will provide executive supervision of the Mental Health Department across all HMS sites. This position is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

In addition to clinic based services, this position will be expected to actively participate in community outreach efforts in the HMS two-county service area as well as public health policy at the local, regional state and national levels in conjunction with the HMS CEO.

Integration Psychologist | Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS)

The Psychologist will provide assessment, therapy and consultative mental health care under the supervision of the Chief Mental Health Officer in accordance with their knowledge base, experience, and competence. In addition to clinic based services, the Psychologist will be expected to actively participate in outreach efforts in Southwestern New Mexico.

The delivery of quality services and positive interaction with all our customers, internal and external, is critical to the completion of all the tasks within this job description, and thus the employee is responsible for establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with patients, visitors and HMS employees in a courteous, respectful and professional manner. Guidelines include all HMS policies and procedures and the guidelines and code of ethics of the American Psychological Association. Ages of patients to be served will be principally adolescent to adult, but may include newborn, pediatric and elderly patients.

Mental Health Clinical Supervisor | Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS)

The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor under the supervision of the Lead Mental Health Clinical Supervisor will provide individual and group clinical supervision in accordance with the guidance provided by HMS P&P (MH-005), and in compliance with and in accordance with their knowledge base, experience, and competence.

Mental Health Therapist | Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS)

The Mental Health Therapist will provide assessment, therapy and consultative mental health care under the supervision of the Chief Mental Health Officer in accordance with their knowledge base, experience, and competence. Substance Use Disorder Therapist | Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS)

Under the supervision of the Senior Mental Health Program Director and the Lead Clinical Supervisor, provides counseling and therapy services to HMS patients with substance use disorders. Conducts individual, group, and family counseling under the framework of state and federal law, the counseling code of ethics, and evidence based practices and policies and procedures.
