The Academic Leaders Toolkit is a peer-reviewed repository of decision making tools used by academic leaders and their staffs to implement changes at their institutions and systems. By exchanging information on tools, colleagues aid one another in advancing the quality and efficiency of higher education in the West and beyond. As the COVID-19 crisis continues, faculty, staff, and institutions are continuing to adapt and pivot by being more creative and resourceful than ever. The Colleagues’ Choice Award is a way to recognize the creativity and resourcefulness of your faculty and staff.

2019 Colleagues' Choice Award Winner

Vicki Golich, 2019 Forum Chair, congratulates Daniel Campbell, Director of Assessment & Accreditation at University of Idaho. Campbell’s submission entitled “Cloud-Based Faculty Productivity Reporting” was the 2019 Colleagues’ Choice Award winner. This tool used a common, cloud-based solution for online data collection (Qualtrics) to developed a streamlined approach to collecting faculty data across the four key areas of faculty work; teaching, research/scholarship, service, and administration.

Due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of the Forum Annual Meeting, there was no winner chosen in 2020.
