I would like to invite you to join me in beautiful Long Beach, California, for the annual Alliance meeting! The meeting will provide you with opportunities to unite, collaborate, and learn about ideas and practices that can help us to be more effective and innovative in our roles as academic leaders. It is essential that we facilitate robust discussions about current and critical issues affecting higher education, and the tools and strategies shared by our presenters will speak to the dynamic nature of our work and opportunities to effect positive change within our institutions and beyond. The importance of community colleges nationwide has increased exponentially within the past few years and now, more than ever, it is crucial that we come together as colleagues to move forward in strategically maintaining and enhancing the academic rigor and integrity of our institutions while decreasing time to graduation and increasing graduation rates. I know that you will have an amazing and rewarding experience at the conference and am certain that you will leave better informed and inspired!
