Frontier Mental Health Services Resource Network
The mission of the Frontier Mental Health Services Resource Network was the collection, analysis, and synthesis of knowledge regarding needs for and delivery of mental health services in "frontier" rural U.S. counties (nonmetropolitan counties with population densities of less than seven persons per square mile).

Rural Behavioral Health
Demographics, economics and cultural values have a dynamic impact upon behavioral health care. Critical barriers individulas face in rural America in receiving proper and timely care usually include: access, availability and acceptability. Through research and policy, the WICHE mental health program continually strives to lessen the negative impact these barriers present to rural America.
