Principles into Practice: Promoting Effective Support Services
for Students in Distance Learning Programs. This
was a three-year project that began in October 1996 and was
funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Fund for the
Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE).
This project was designed to help institutions in the West
implement innovative approaches to services for distance
learning.
Project activities include:

to student services at a distance

Disseminate information about successful approaches

Provide technical assistance to western institutions
