All learners, including those enrolled in distance education programs,
benefit from the types of library services which have been traditionally
provided to students on campus. Institutions must view library services
for distance learners as core components of the educational environment.
Besides discussing the essential services in general, Ms. Dupuis
also offered some examples of model programs at various institutions.
