non-profit organization.

Beyond the Administrative Core
is a three-year collaborative project designed to address
time- and location-independent access to student support
services for distance education students.
| Technology Costing Methodology Project |
The Technology Costing Methodology
project produced a costing methodology (and related procedures)
both within an institution and across and institution. Two
publications and a set of electronic spreadsheets are available
for institutions to implement TCM. Also, watch for policy
white papers and a technology
costing policy meeting to be held in Washington, DC
on May 14-15, 2002.
| The Hewlett Projects: Developing
the Tools, Policies, and Models Critical to the Electronic
Delivery of Higher Education |
WCET's "Developing the Tools" project, funded
by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, will develop specific
tools to help higher education institutions integrate online
learning and the World Wide Web.
The Multimedia Educational
Resource for Learning Online Teaching (MERLOT) consortium
is a continually growing collection of online learning materials
and support resources that help faculty enhance their instruction.
The MERLOT mission is to improve the effectiveness of teaching
and learning by expanding the quantity and quality of peer-reviewed
online learning materials that can be easily incorporated
into faculty designed courses.
