All Returns must be accompanied by the dated sales receipt & I.D.
Refunds:
- First 15 days of Fall, Winter & Spring terms.
- First 10 days of modular and Summer term.
- Must be in same condition as when purchased.
- Refund may be mailed when circumstances warrant or when refund exceeds $100.00.
- Manufacturer defects will be replaced if returned with receipt within 30 days.
Shrink Wrapped Textbook Return Policy
As above plus the following:
- Same condition as when purchased with all original components.
- Any disks or CD-ROMs must still be in the original SEALED packaging.
- There will be a $3.00 refund reduction for every book or of books that are unwrapped. (This charge is to cover the extra costs of rewrapping and also to offset the expense to the Bookstore from publishers who will not accept unwrapped books.)
- Times & dates are posted at each store.
For Your Information
-The wholesaler determines the wholesale price of a text.
- The publisher determines the list price of a text.
- The instructor determines which books are required.
Electronic Products Return Policy
- Product must be accompanied by original dated sales receipt.
- Product must be in the original unopened shrink-wrap package.
- Product must be in same condition as when purchased.
- Product must be returned within 10 calender days of purchase date.
- Defective items will be exchange within 30 days of purchase when accompanied by the original sales receipt.
- Currently, PCC Bookstore is ONLY buying back the Texas Instrument TI-86 calculator.
- Calculator must include owner's manual, and cable.
- Nothing can be etched into the calculator (i.e. name, SSN).
- Customer will perform a graph on the calculator to show that it is in working condition.
- Calculators are bought back during the Textbook Buy-Back. Textbook Buy-Back dates and times are posted at each store.
Computer Software Return Policy
- Product must be accompanied by original dated sales receipt.
- Product must be in the original unopened shrink-wrap package.
- Product must be returned within 10 calender days of purchase date.
*note: This does not apply to any AutoDesk Software Products. All AutoDesk defective products must be exchanged by the publisher of the product. This is an AutoDesk policy.
Also note that manufacturer's 30 day customer satisfaction guarantees must be handled through the company offering that policy.
Computer Hardware Return Policy
- Computer hardware products are not returnable unless approved by the hardware manufacturer. Otherwise, all computer hardware product sales are final. Please refer to manufacturer's warranty policies and/or the manufacturer concerning your product.
- All other computer hardware products which prove to be defective within 30 days, PCC Bookstore will exchange for same product when accompanied by original dated sales receipt. After 30 days, the customer will be referred to the manufacturer.
