- Work with the Academic Leadership to develop and maintain a comprehensive online distance education Course Offering Plan for courses/programs the institution plans to share with others.

- Work with the Academic Leadership to develop and maintain a comprehensive online distance education Course Offering Plan for course/programs the institution plans to request from others.

- Input all online courses identified to be shared each semester into the WICHE ICE database according to the course-sharing timeline developed by the course/program exchange participants.

- Set articulation agreements in place if needed. Check first with registrar to see if a specific course has been transferred. If not, utilize the institutional committee structure to accept courses or programs.

- Do a final check with the departments on the number of seats they are willing to share. Sometimes the plan is not always the same as the last-minute reality.

- Grant or decline requests for seats in a timely manner (see timeline)

- Request seats in courses identified in your institution’s Course Offering Plan at the time designated by the course-sharing timeline.

- Reduce the number of seats granted to other institutions in your system (Banner, People Soft, etc).

- Create a course in your system (Banner, People Soft, etc) with the granted seats

- Obtain faculty permission to share grades over WICHE ICE.

- Market the courses at your institution.

- Obtain student name and email from WICHE ICE roster for those students accessing seats in your institution’s online courses. Load the names and emails into your course management system.

- Ensure that each enrolled student name and email is added to the course roster in the WICHE ICE database to be accessed by the teaching institution to get students into their course management system (like Blackboard).

- Invoice enrolling institutions for seats in your courses.
|
- Pay the invoice for seats in teaching institution courses.
|
- Assure appropriate representation on the WICHE ICE Steering Committee and regularly attend electronic and face-to-face meetings.
