WICHE ICE membership

Regionally accredited two- and four -year institutions, higher education consortia, system offices and state agencies in the WICHE region are encouraged to join WICHE ICE. Annual membership dues are set annually by the Steering Board. Members must sign a Memorandum of Agreement [PDF] and mail to: WICHE ICE, 3035 Center Green Drive,  Boulder, CO 80305 .

Benefits of WICHE ICE membership to your institution include:

  • Increased course and program offerings for your students to help them graduate on time, explore a particular area of a discipline that your institution does not have the resources to offer, or access a specialized online program through the shared resources of WICHE ICE institutions.

  • Invitations to training and technical assistance seminars that help key personnel at your campus implement WICHE ICE, including registrars, business and finance officers, academic administrators and other members of your institution’s implementation team.

  • Opportunities to coordinate program offerings on a regional level using the resources of several universities.

  • Membership of a representative at your institution on the WICHE ICE Steering Board, which manages an annual workplan that encompasses financing, marketing and recruitment, assessment, and other issues that pertain to ICE’s growth and sustainability.  Member institutions are also asked to appoint a WICHE ICE program information coordinator to support WICHE ICE course sharing.

  • Access to the WICHE ICE database  to post courses and programs to share with other WICHE ICE member institutions.
