The fall 2006 IPEDS Enrollment Survey reported a total of 7,281 first-time freshmen were enrolled in 7 public institutions across the state of North Dakota.* Total undergraduate enrollment, both part-time and full-time students, was 38,131 students.  North Dakota ranks #8 among WICHE states in terms of the total number of first-time freshmen, and #8 in terms of undergraduates enrolled, and in terms of the total number of Fall 2006 Cohort students (3,416) who transferred during the five-year period (2006-2010) within North Dakota, to other WICHE states, or to non-WICHE states.

A total of XXX fall 2006 cohort* students transferred within this state between 2006 and 2010 via four different pathways:

  • 2 yr institution to 2 yr institution = 0 or fewer than 20
  • 2 yr institution to 4 yr institution = 0 or fewer than 20
  • 4 yr institution to 2 yr institution = 0 or fewer than 20
  • 4 yr institution to 4 yr institution = 0 or fewer than 20
