Funding Source and Evaluators
Next Generation Learning Challenges
Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) is a collaborative, multi-year initiative focused on identifying and scaling technology-enabled approaches to dramatically improve college readiness and completion, especially for low-income young adults. NGLC provides grants, gathers evidence about effective practices, and works to develop a community dedicated to these persistent challenges. NANSLO was one of 29 projects funded in the first wave in April 2011.
SRI International
NGLC is working with SRI International to evaluate all NGLC Wave 1 grant projects. The purpose of this external evaluation is to assist grantees and NGLC in documenting effective and scalable practices. SRI International is an independent, nonprofit research institute conducting client-sponsored research and development for government agencies, commercial businesses, foundations, and other organizations.
