College Access Challenge Grant

WICHE has launched two initiatives to help states take advantage of the federally-funded College Access Challenge Grant (CACG). In the CACG Consortium, WICHE assists state partners with developing and implementing grant programs, while providing grant management and evaluation assistance. Through the CACG Network, WICHE provides a forum for state leaders to share promising practices, discuss common challenges, and work together to improve their programs.

FROM PROMISING IDEAS TO PROVEN PRACTICE

CACG Network meeting, November 16-17, 2010, Las Vegas, Nevada

The fifth CACG Network meeting took place November 16-17 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The meeting focused sharing new ideas and proven practices among states and highlighted effective practices in statewide access networks, new data models that can track access and success for students, technical challenges in administering the CACG, training modules for guidance counselors, and access and success challenges for non-traditional students.
