1998 Legislative Overview
(Part 1)

Articulation

The Arizona legislature appropriated funding for the Transfer Articulation System, which will support a statewide articulation facilitator, a computerized course applicability system, and a data warehouse to track student information. The Regents and the State Board of Directors for Community Colleges will also continue working towards implementation of an agreement assuring that community college students can transfer to Arizona public universities without loss of credit toward a baccalaureate degree.

South Dakota legislation mandated articulation between the technical institutes and the state universities.
